What is Motability?

Motability is a charity which helps disabled people of all ages to get around. It does this by helping them to use some or all of their Disability Living Allowance (DLA) at the higher rate Motability component, or War Pensioners Supplement to buy or lease a car.

Motability is a non-profit making organisation that enables people with disabilities to have more freedom and access cars at a low and easily manageable price.

Fine Cars Ltd is proud to be part of the scheme, which has been running for 25 years and has helped thousands of people throughout Britain. We offer a wide range of models within the Mobility scheme, ensuring we can offer our customers full service and support whatever their needs.

To qualify for a new car under the Contract Hire Scheme or Hire Purchase Plan of Motability, you must be in receipt of either:

• Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or
• War Pension Mobility Supplement (WPMS)

The award of your DLA or WPMS must be for a minimum period of 3 years to qualify for a Contract Hire vehicle, or for 4 or 5 years for a Hire Purchase Plan vehicle.

In both cases, supply of a vehicle is subject to your application being accepted and authorised by Motability.
